Fa la la la la la la la la la!! Happy Holidays!
It’s time for a month of holiday inspired posts! Last month, I took the time to take care of myself. I fought the flu, started a new job, decorated for Christmas, pigged out for Thanksgiving and completed most of my Christmas shopping. It was a busy month which made it difficult to actually sit still to type up a post because I was so excited about everything else going on. I’m good now though and I’m back with the weekly blog drop starting with My 2018 Christmas Wishlist.
Every year someone asks what I want for Christmas, and I try to keep it as simple as possible. In my mind, I skip over the new pair of Nikes I need, and that humidifier that will keep me from waking up having to finish an entire bottle of water. Instead of telling them exactly what I want, I resort to something extremely practical, like a gift card from Walmart, candles, or typical winter accessories. The truth is, the hype around buying Christmas gifts makes it so I have to keep two wishlists. So today I’m sharing not one, but two wishlists with you. The images below are shoppable too! Just tap to shop them!
The first wishlist is filled with practical, personal and affordable items under $50! These are wishlisted items that I feel like I can actually share with others in case they decide to get me something for Christmas.
2018 Christmas Wishlist
My second list is my true wishlist.I say true, because all I can do I wish that I and everyone else had enough money to throw around to buy everything on it. It’s like a vision board filled with hopes and dreams, but shoes, mac-books and humidifiers instead.
My Extraordinary Wishlist
Hopefully my wishlist will help you get started with your own!
A word of advise though… The best time to start thinking of a wishlist has passed, but whatever you do, don’t wait until the last 2 weeks of December to start your Christmas shopping! If you’re the ultimate procrastinator or you’re just too busy to avoid the inevitable, then there are many ways you can combat last minute gift shopping. I’m saving that topic for another day though. So subscribe to stay tuned for the next post.
Did my wishlists give you any ideas for your own? Do you already know what you want for Christmas? Have you tried any of the items on my wishlist and absolutely love them? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
